loved the cozy room and friendly staff, great location near cheap local restaurants and walking distance to attractions. Not your typical hostel, more like a small friendly hotel. Recommended for a genuine Thai experience.
Communication issue at night.

I had the most amazing experience at this hostel! The room was incredibly clean and tidy, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver. The fact that it was close to the night market was mind-blowing. They even provided bikes, which made exploring the temples super convenient. The staff was beyond kind and friendly, making me feel right at home. And the best part? It was such a cheap price for a deluxe double room! I couldn't believe my luck. this place was a jaw-dropping find and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable stay.

I recently stayed at a hostel in Chiang Mai and had a positive experience. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed and working air conditioner. I appreciated that it was located in a quiet area, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. Additionally, the hostel was conveniently close to the night market, which was a great opportunity to explore and try local delicacies. I would recommend this hostel for its cleanliness, comfort, and proximity to attractions.

The room I stayed in at 09 Hostel was super cozy and comfortable. It had air conditioning and a wardrobe, which made it feel like a home away from home.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the shared bathroom in the dormitory room. But hey, some people might enjoy it!
